Simon has a successful track record spanning over 25 years for implementing Risk Management and Security strategies in the UK, Europe and Middle East/Asia. He has worked with major leisure, fashion and grocery operators in the UK. Currently based in Dubai in the UAE, he joined Majid Al Futtaim Group in 2007 from Lewis Trust Group in the UK, where he set up Business Resilience programs and a fully operational profit protection function. Previous to that he had established the Loss Prevention function for the biggest retailer in the region M.H Alshaya LLC, Kuwait operating extensively throughout the GCC and South Europe. Simon is Vice President – Risk Management for Majid Al Futtaim Properties, a leading developer and asset manager of shopping malls, hotels, and leisure destinations throughout the MENA and Asia regions. Simon represents ASIS CSO Roundtable for the Middle East region, and has specific interests in Business Continuity, Security and Fraud Risk Management.
